Zayn is Main Street's resident dark lord and our dark arts specialist — the artist to seek out for bio-horror, large-scale freehand work, and anything that lives on the heavier end of black and grey. He grew up around creativity — his father was an artist, and that early exposure made pursuing a life in art feel less like a leap and more like a given. He came into tattooing the way a lot of people do: getting tattooed, speaking to artists, and eventually realising he needed to be on the other side of it.

His style — best described in his own words as "an amalgamation of bad dreams and Death Metal" — spans black and grey, bio-organic, horror, and dark art. He works primarily freehand, building compositions directly on the body that couldn't exist any other way. The work tends toward the large and the dark, but the process is more approachable than the aesthetic might suggest.

His style has gone through many iterations, and he'll be the first to tell you this one probably isn't the last. Inspiration can come from any facet of life, positive or negative. Make what fills the void.
