Joe is self-taught, which tells you something about how he operates. No apprenticeship, no formal path — just art, graffiti, and a tattoo artist friend who kept turning down his designs until Joe decided to do them himself. That's the kind of determination that tends to produce something real.

He specialises in LA and Chicano style tattooing — lowriders, pretty girls, clown masks, the visual language of a culture with a lot to say and a long history of saying it beautifully. His influences are Mr Cartoon and local legends, and the work carries that lineage. These days it's pushing further into realism, moving away from the cartoon aesthetic and toward something bolder and more detailed.

Outside tattooing he draws from airbrush art and the fashion within the lowrider community — an aesthetic that's as considered as any fine art tradition. He takes the trust his clients extend to him seriously, turning their ideas into custom designs with the freedom and organisation they deserve.

He shows up prepared. He delivers.
