Bee found tattooing through a love of sketching and creating — art was always the thing that made sense, and tattooing became the natural way to bring those ideas to life permanently. She's currently completing her apprenticeship under Tankeater here at Main Street, and the influence of that mentorship is evident in everything she's working toward.
She started with fine line work and has moved steadily toward dark art — drawn by its depth, emotion, and the freedom it gives her to explore something genuinely unsettling without losing the playfulness she brings to everything. Her inspiration comes from fungi and mushrooms, folklore, dark fantasy, and the eerie details hiding in the natural world. Things that are a bit dreamy, a bit wrong, and completely captivating.
Learning directly from one of Perth's most distinctive dark art voices has given Bee a strong foundation and a clear creative direction. She's early in her tattooing journey but the trajectory is already there.
Don't let the aesthetic fool you. Bee laughs constantly. Sessions are welcoming, fun, and relaxed — the work just happens to live on the darker side.
