Anais didn't come to tattooing through a sketchbook or a studio — she came through the world. Originally from France Anais spent four years travelling Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, painting large mandalas on walls, and discovering a love for art that connects with people in a direct and personal way. That journey led her here to Perth, where she completed her apprenticeship in Scarborough and built the foundations of a practice that is quietly distinctive.
Her style is ornamental fine line — work designed to complement the natural flow of the body rather than cover it. Delicate lines, dots, floral elements, and ocean-inspired forms that sit on the skin like jewellery rather than decoration. She grew up in Marseille, a few hours from Morocco, and the rich blend of cultures, patterns, and traditions she was exposed to there runs through everything she makes. Ancient tattooing traditions, feminine energy, and the symbolism that connects art to identity all inform her approach.
What sets Anais apart is how personally she takes the work. Over the years she has become particularly attuned to the stories her clients carry — stretch marks, scars, motherhood, life experiences — and to creating tattoos that help people reconnect with their bodies and feel proud of what they wear. Every client deserves to feel respected, safe, and genuinely cared for. In her chair, they do.
